When asked what type of military intervention the United States should undertake if it believes Iran has nuclear weapons, 37 percent support aerial attacks, 33 percent support increased economic and political sanctions, 10 percent said there should be no changes in policy against Iran and 7 percent support both invasion and aerial attacks of the country, the poll said.
Seventy-nine percent said they would be concerned about oil prices if the United States attacks Iran.
Results are based on an online survey of 2,077 likely voters conducted Feb. 17 through Tuesday. The margin of error is 2.2 percentage points.
