Lawyer: Plaintiff used 'getzuck' tag

BUFFALO, N.Y., Feb. 23 (UPI) -- An upstate New York man who has sued Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg has an e-mail account with the tag "getzuck," lawyers for Zuckerberg say.

Orin Snyder, Facebook's lead counsel in the litigation with Paul Ceglia, accused Ceglia of playing "hide the ball," The Buffalo News reported. Snyder is seeking access to information on all Ceglia's e-mail accounts, and a judge has already ordered Ceglia to pay $80,000 in penalties for failing to turn over the information.

Snyder, in legal documents filed Tuesday, said he has learned of at least four additional Ceglia e-mail accounts, including the "getzuck" one.

Dean Boland of Lakewood, Ohio, Ceglia's lead lawyer, accused Snyder of stalling by filing endless requests for information because he does not want to get to the "meat of the case."

Ceglia, who lives in Wellsville in the Buffalo area, says he and Zuckerberg signed a contract in 2003 that would give him 50 percent of Facebook. Zuckerberg says they signed a contract because he had agreed to help Ceglia with a mapping database called StreetFax and Facebook was not involved.
