Houston was found dead Feb. 11 in the bathtub of her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif. The burial was a private affair with an invitation-only audience of friends and family.

A star-studded crowd turned out in Newark Saturday for the funeral at New Hope Baptist Church.

Westfield police warned residents to expect several road closures prior to the burial Sunday and a heavy police presence in the area, The (Newark) Star-Ledger said.

Fairview covers 105 acres and is the final resting place of notables including Kool and the Gang co-founder Claydes Smith and Virginia Apgar, whose Apgar Score is a standard test for newborn infants to measure their health and viability.
