CHESTERFIELD, N.J., Feb. 17 (UPI) -- A New Jersey state trooper's daughter was killed and her triplet sisters and a boy were critically hurt in a school bus-dump truck crash, police said.

Isabelle Teszla, 11, was killed in the crash, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported. She was a sixth-grader at Chesterfield Elementary School.

Her sisters, Sophie and Natalie, and Jonathan Zdybel, 11, were flown to Cooper Medical Center in Camden. All three had life-threatening injuries.

Fifteen of the 25 children on the bus suffered minor injuries.

The triplets' father was identified as Sgt. Anthony Teszla. A source told the Inquirer he is assigned to the State Police detail at the New Jersey Statehouse.

Chesterfield Police Chief Kyle Wilson said the truck hit the rear of the bus, sending it into a pole. He said the truck appeared to have the right-of-way because its driver had a blinking amber caution light while the bus had a stop sign and red light.
