MIDWEST CITY, Okla., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- A Midwest City, Okla., man and his girlfriend have been arrested for allegedly hiring a hit man to dispatch the man's estranged wife, police say.

Jessica Lynn Brown, 23, was found dead on the morning of Jan. 11 in her Midwest City home, shot twice in the head. An autopsy report showed she was six months pregnant.

Brown's estranged husband, Fabion, 24, and his girlfriend, Emily Matheson, 23, were arrested for alleged conspiracy to commit murder, The (Oklahoma City) Oklahoman reported.

Matheson told investigators she and Fabion hired a man identified as Brodric Lontae Glover, 19, who went by the alias "Savage," and demanded a $125 down payment and another $125 after the killing.

Matheson said Glover called her around 3 a.m. on Jan. 11 telling her, "It's done."

Fabion was scheduled to appear at a divorce hearing later that day. Matheson told investigators Fabion was behind on child support and feared he would go to jail.

Judge Arlene Johnson granted investigators a wire intercept request on Jan. 27 until Feb 6. Fabion and Mattheson's cellphone conversations betrayed intimate knowledge of Brown's murder, leading to their arrests.
