Memorial to be built for hazing victim Robert Champion

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Florida A&M University is establishing an on-campus memorial and a scholarship in honor of a student who died in a hazing attack, trustees said.

Robert Champion, a member of the Tallahassee, Fla., school's famed marching band, died last year of blunt-force trauma after the Florida Classic football game in Orlando. His death was ruled a homicide.
