Greece, FYROM to rejoin 'Macedonia' talks

UNITED NATIONS, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Greece and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia are rejoining U.N.-mediated talks over the official name of the latter country, the United Nations said.

Matthew Nimetz, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon's personal envoy, will host two days of talks in New York starting Jan. 16, the United Nations said Tuesday in a release.

Greek Ambassador Adamantios Vassilakis and FYROM Ambassador Zoran Jolevski will participate in the talks after meeting separately with Nimetz.
