MCARTHUR, Ohio, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- The pilot of a single-engine plane that crashed in southeastern Ohio died Sunday, bringing the death toll to three, authorities said.
WSYX-TV, Columbus, reported the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Kevin Byers, 54, Baltimore, Ohio, was pronounced dead about 4 a.m. at a Columbus hospital.

The Vinton County Sheriff's Office said the crash occurred about 2 p.m. Saturday near the county airport, WSAZ-TV, Huntington, W.Va., reported.
The two initial fatalities were passengers who were pronounced dead at the scene.
They were identified as Eudora Byers, 78, of Mansfield, Ohio, and Siobhan Reynolds, 50, of New Mexico, WSYX-TV said.
The cause of the crash was being investigated.
