Woman charged in penis enhancement death

EAST ORANGE, N.J., Dec. 10 (UPI) -- A New Jersey woman was charged Saturday in the death of a man who died of a blot clot after she allegedly injected silicone into his penis to enlarge it.

Essex County prosecutors said Kasia Rivera, 34, of East Orange was arrested and charged with manslaughter and unauthorized practice of medicine in the May 6 death of Justin Street, 22, also of East Orange, The (Newark) Star-Ledger reported.

Authorities allege Street received the injection at Rivera's home the day before he died.

An autopsy showed he died of silicone embolism as a result of the injection, the prosecutor's office said.

Rivera was being held in lieu of $75,000 bail, the newspaper said.

The prosecutor's office is asking anyone else who allegedly received injections from Rivera to call its major crime task force.
