OPA-LOCKA, Fla., Dec. 5 (UPI) -- A Florida woman was jailed Monday, accused of trying to selling her 8-month-old son to raise $7,000, authorities said.
Kenia Quiala Bosque, 30, of Opa-locka was arrested at her apartment Sunday and was jailed in lieu of $5,000 bond, The Miami Herald reported.

Authorities allegedly recorded four telephone calls between Bosque and an informant discussing her desire to sell her child.
"Bosque placed [her son] in harm by attempting to sell the child, which would cause emotional trauma to the child," an arrest document stated.
