PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Police in Delaware have charged a 33-year-old woman with selling her infant son to a Philadelphia man for $15,000.

Bridget Wismer of Brookside Park, Del. was arrested after members of her family expressed concern about the infant's safety, the Philadelphia News reported Wednesday.

Police executed a search warrant at the home of John Gavaghan and found him with the 1-month-old boy.

Gavaghan was charged with dealing in children and conspiracy.

Cpl. John Weglarz of the New Castle, Del., police said Gavaghan was caught on video filling out sale documents at a casino in Wilmington.

"It sounds ridiculous ... but he was caught on video surveillance completing documents regarding the sale of a baby," Weglarz said. "It was clearly visible."

Gavaghan and Wismer met through mutual friends, police said.
