ATASCADERO, Calif., Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Three people have been arrested in California on felony child endangerment charges after an 18-month-old child ingested cocaine, officials said.

Daniel Sanchez, 26, Priscilla Tabarez, 20, and Isaac Tabarez, 18, were being held in lieu of $100,000 bail each at San Luis Obispo County Jail, The San Luis Obispo County (Calif.) Tribune reported Thursday.

Priscilla Tabarez, the child's mother, called for an ambulance Wednesday after the boy ingested an unknown quantity of cocaine that had been left out.

Atascadero police said the boy was showing symptoms of being under the influence of the drug when they arrived at the apartment.

Sanchez is identified as the child's father and Isaac Tabarez as the brother of Priscilla Tabarez.

The child was placed in the custody of San Luis Obispo County Child Welfare Services.
