BOSTON, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Four protesters were stopped by security in Boston as they attempted to heckle former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld at a book promotion event.

"Mr. Rumsfeld I'm placing you under arrest," shouted one woman as she approached the stage carrying a sign that read "War Criminal" Monday night at the Old South Meeting House, the Boston Herald reported.

Police said one protester was arrested for assaulting a police officer with a bullhorn.

Rumsfeld, who is promoting his biography, defended the invasion of Iraq and criticized the Obama administration's timetable for withdrawing from Afghanistan. He also said policy makers should not "remake" Afghanistan in the United States' image, the newspaper said.
