Casey Anthony hit with big bill

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 23 (UPI) -- A judge in Florida Friday more than doubled the bill Casey Anthony must pay to cover the cost of investigating her daughter Caylee's disappearance.

Anthony had objected to the initial civil order that she pay $97,000 in costs associated with the investigation into her daughter's disappearance. Judge Belvin Perry not only said she must pay that amount but an additional $119,000 to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, Jacksonville's WJXT-TV reported.

The total does not include costs incurred after Caylee's death was ruled a homicide case, the TV station said.

Anthony, 25, was found not guilty in July in the 2008 death of her 2-year-old daughter, but was convicted on lesser charges she lied to law enforcement officers trying to find the missing child.
