Disney's Cobra arrested for DWI

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Former Disney star Shelby Cobra was arrested for reportedly driving under the influence in Los Angeles, police say.

Police said the 18-year-old lead singer of the defunct band KSM registered 0.15 percent on a blood alcohol test after being pulled over by police, TMZ reported.

Law enforcement officials told TMZ they observed the girl, whose real name is Shelby Spalione, driving with the dome light on and passenger sitting sideways while not wearing a seat belt.

The officer smelled alcohol on Spalione's breath and when she failed a blood alcohol test, she was arrested and taken to Van Nuys jail. She was released on her own recognizance.

KSM, which was formed as a kids version of the Go-Go's, broke up in 2010.
