SEATTLE, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- A man allegedly became violent and bit a pilot on the arm when an Alaska Airlines plane landed in Seattle, a spokesman for Sea-Tac Airport said.
The passenger was restrained by the plane's flight crew and some fellow passengers, Perry Cooper said. The man was arrested by Port of Seattle police and could be charged with assault, Seattle's KOMO-TV reported.
The incident began about 4:30 a.m. Monday as Flight 108 from Anchorage headed to the terminal, Cooper said. The man, 39 years old, rushed to the exit door as the plane was taxiing.
He was taken to Highline Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
