NORMAN, Okla., Sept. 4 (UPI) -- An Oklahoma man faces charges of attempting to elude police and driving under the influence after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase while naked.
Police received reports that the man, whose name was not released, was driving naked in a Mercedes on Saturday in Norman. When police approached his vehicle, he fled, traveling south on Interstate 35, reported The Oklahoman. The man attempted to flee on foot when the car caught on fire, officials said, at which point police apprehended him.

The man was taken to Norman Regional Hospital for treatment and has also been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and driving without a license.
