PRINCETON, N.J., Aug. 22 (UPI) -- At least four GOP 2012 presidential hopefuls have about as much U.S. voter support as President Barack Obama, a Democrat, a poll released Monday indicated.
New Jersey polling firm Gallup said former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney had a two-point edge over Obama, while Texas Gov. Rick Perry was tied with Obama. The president led Rep. Ron Paul of Texas by two percentage points and Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota by four.
