ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 19 (UPI) -- George Anthony, Casey Anthony's father, has had the white Pontiac Sunfire that belonged to his daughter crushed at a Florida junkyard, officials said.

The car was evidence in the murder trial against Casey Anthony, charged with murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, WFOL-TV of Orlando reported. She was found not guilty of her daughter's death.

Prosecutors presented evidence during Anthony's trial that there was human decomposition found in the trunk.

Caylee was last seen in June 2008 but wasn't reported missing until a month later. Casey Anthony was charged with first-degree murder in the toddler's death, whose body was found in December 2008.

Anthony was freed from jail in July after a jury found her not guilty. Since being released from jail, Anthony has dropped from public sight.
