Brother John was shot in the head. His wife was grazed by a bullet on the shoulder and one of the children, a 3-year-old, was hit in the arm. Their names have not been released.

"There was not one word," said William, a man who was receiving a meal from the family at the time of the shooting. "All those shots, I had to duck. (The victim) didn't have time to duck. The kids and the wife were screaming and hollering."

William, whose last name was being withheld due to concern for his safety, said the other vehicle stopped and backed up before someone inside opened fire then sped off.

Police say there were no known motives for the attack. A reward of as much as $25,000 was being offered for information leading to the arrest of the shooter.
