WASHINGTON, July 18 (UPI) -- U.S. President Obama meets with members of Giving Pledge, a private philanthropic campaign, and hosts an education roundtable Monday, the White House said.

-- Receive the daily briefing.

-- Meet with senior advisers.

-- Meet with members of Giving Pledge, including co-founders Warren Buffett, Bill and Melinda Gates and others in the campaign, which invites the wealthiest individuals and families to donate most of their wealth to philanthropic causes, for an update, and to discuss ways in which private philanthropy can help address the country's challenges.

-- Make a personnel announcement

-- Host an education roundtable with business leaders, Education Secretary Arne Duncan, America's Promise Alliance Founding Chairman Gen. Colin Powell and others to discuss what the business community can do to ensure the country's workforce is skilled, educated and competitive.

-- Meet with senior administration officials and heads of financial regulatory agencies to receive an update on implementation of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
