HOUSTON, July 8 (UPI) -- A federal jury in Houston Friday rejected Jamie Jones' claims she was drugged and gang-raped in Iraq in 2005 while she was employed by Kellogg Brown and Root.
The jury also rejected Jones' fraud claims against the Houston defense contractor, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Jones, 26, sued KBR for creating a "sexually hostile working environment" at Iraq's Camp Hope, naming former KBR fireman Charles Boartz as one of her rapists.
Boartz, 34, admitted to having sex with Jones but said their acts were consensual, and the jury agreed, the newspaper said.
The jury also decided KBR did not commit fraud in its employment contract with Jones. Those two decisions released the jurors from deliberating on any other charges.
The jury deliberated for a total of 11 hours Thursday and Friday before reaching the verdict in the monthlong trial.
