Walters to interview Casey Anthony's attorney

NEW YORK, July 6 (UPI) -- Veteran U.S. broadcast journalist Barbara Walters has booked the first sit-down interview with Jose Baez, accused child killer Casey Anthony's defense attorney.

The Hollywood Reporter said the interview will be featured on ABC News broadcasts Wednesday and on "Good Morning America" and "The View" Thursday.

Anthony was acquitted in Florida Tuesday of capital murder charges in connection with the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

The defense argued the toddler accidentally drowned, but the prosecution insisted Anthony purposefully killed the child. The manner in which the girl died has never been proven.

A jury found the young mother not guilty of murder Tuesday after 11 hours of deliberation.
