Charleston slammed into a car driven by Jessica Feldman, 20, police said. Her boyfriend, Daniel Fouracre, 22, of Bensalem, Pa., was killed.

Investigators said Charleston was driving his mother's Chrysler Sebring with the headlights and tail lights off when he ran a red light in Northeast Philadelphia. He struck another car before hitting Feldman's Volkswagen Jetta.

Fouracre was an air-conditioning and heating technician.

"He had a very big heart," his father, Bruce, said.

Bruce Fouracre told WCAU-TV, Philadelphia, he cannot really feel anger toward Charleston.

"It's a no-win situation," he said.

Feldman and two passengers in Charleston's car were also hurt.
