DALLAS, June 20 (UPI) -- A 19-year-old man died and dozens of others were hospitalized after suffering drug and heat-related health problems at a rave in Dallas, officials said.

"At one time there were at least 10 different rescue units responding to the event at once, with a number of emergency medical services supervisors and engine companies for manpower," Evans said. "The chaos finally came to a rapid stop when someone pulled a fire alarm around 1:30 a.m. and sent those that remained scattering."

A 15-year-old girl died at a similar Electric Daisy event in Los Angeles last year, the newspaper said.
