ATLANTA, May 26 (UPI) -- Bishop Eddie Long has reached a settlement with four men who say he sexually abused them, their attorney told WSB-TV, Atlanta, Thursday.

The men, former members of Long's New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in DeKalb County, Ga., filed their lawsuits after they claimed Long abused his position of power to lure them into sexual relationships, a charge Long has denied.

Attorney BJ Bernstein provided the station with no details other than to say in a statement, "The matter has been resolved."

The settlement follows court-ordered mediation between the parties ordered by Judge Johnny Panos.
