U.S. says bin Laden had porn collection

WASHINGTON, May 14 (UPI) -- Navy SEALs found a large amount of pornography in Osama bin Laden's Pakistan compound, a U.S. official confirms.

The official told ABC News the "huge" stash was kept in a wooden box in the al-Qaida leader's bedroom and included videos. The compound had video players but no Internet in an attempt to avoid detection.

U.S. officials say the million pages of data recovered have given them more intelligence about al-Qaida in the past 10 days than was gained in the last decade.

One official said the data reveal a "strategic guide for how to attack the U.S.," including its rail, air travel and water systems.

A journal that seems to be in bin Laden's handwriting shows he intended to attack smaller American cities and was communicating with al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, based in Yemen.
