ORLANDO, Fla., May 7 (UPI) -- Casey Anthony, the Florida woman charged with killing her young daughter, Caylee, refused a jail visit Saturday from her mother.
Cindy Anthony came to the Orange County jail in spite of being told her daughter would not see her, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
She is believed to have put some money in her daughter's account before leaving.
Jury selection is scheduled to begin Monday in Anthony's trial. Jurors are to be picked in another county, and the location has not been announced.
Caylee disappeared in June 2008, about two months before her second birthday. Her skeletal remains were found months later in a swampy area near the house where Casey Anthony and her daughter lived with her parents.
By the time the remains were found, Casey Anthony had been charged with murder.
Jail officials said inmates are notified of requests for visits via the jail's video conference center on the same day.
Immediately after Anthony's arrest, recordings of her visits with her parents were released to the press. Her only visitors in more than two years have been members of the defense team.
