Three charged in Cornell frat death

ITHACA, N.Y., May 6 (UPI) -- A grand jury indicted three students on hazing charges in the death of a Cornell University fraternity pledge, court documents revealed.

The three were charged with first-degree hazing and charges related to providing alcohol to an underage person, the documents filed in Tompkins County Court said.

The charges involved the February death of 19-year-old George Desdunes at Cornell's Sigma Alpha Epsilon house. His blood-alcohol level was a reported 0.35 percent.

The Ithaca (N.Y.) Journal said Friday the court documents identified the indicted defendants as Ben Mann, Edward William and Max Haskin.
