OCALA, Fla., April 20 (UPI) -- Five Florida youths allegedly killed a teenager and burned his body to dispose of the evidence, authorities said Wednesday.
The suspects lured Seath Jackson, 15, of Belleview, Fla., to a home on Sunday and allegedly shot him multiple times, said arrest affidavits from the Marion County Sheriff's Office in Ocala obtained by the Orlando Sentinel reported.
Charlie Ely, 18; Amber Wright, 15; Michael Bargo, 18; Justin Soto, 20; and Kyle Hooper, 16, all of Summerfield, are charged with first-degree murder.
James Havens, 37, stepfather to Amber and Kyle, is charged as an accessory for allegedly knowing of the plot in advance and helping dispose of the remains, which have not been found.
Seath's parents reported him missing Monday. Tracey Wright, Kyle and Amber's mother, called authorities Tuesday, saying Kyle had told her Seath was killed at Ely's house.
Kyle first said he saw Bargo shoot Seath and then admitted they had all planned the killing, the sheriff said.
Posts on Seath's Facebook page indicate that Amber had broken up with him and was seeing Bargo, and that he had accused her of infidelity.
After the teens beat and shot Seath to death, they burned his body into ashes and bone fragments, authorities say.
