Tennessee posts reward for missing woman

NASHVILLE, April 18 (UPI) -- Tennessee posted a $50,000 reward Monday for information on Holly Bobo, 20, a nursing student who vanished Wednesday.

"Holly Bobo's family needs answers," Gov. Bill Haslam said in a statement. "It is my hope that this reward money would spur some leads that will bring Holly home safely."

Her home town of Parsons already has posted a $25,000 reward. Investigators suspect the culprit is from Parsons and knows Bobo, NewsChannel5, Nashville, reported.

On ABC's "Good Morning America" Monday, country singer Whitney Duncan tearfully pleaded for her cousin's safe return.

"If anybody knows anything ... any details, anything weird that they've seen that might possibly lead to finding her, I hope they come forward with that," she said.

Hundreds of volunteers have been searching the Parsons area, including Natchez Trace State Park. The wildlife agency is using sight imaging to examine the bottoms of nearby lakes.

Late Monday afternoon, investigators made another search of Bobo's neighborhood, interviewing neighbors.

Her brother Clint, 25, told police he saw her walk toward woods Wednesday with a man.

Blood found on the family's driveway is being DNA-tested in Memphis, and Bobo's lunchbox was found miles away.
