Missing Georgia mom alive and well

ATLANTA, April 14 (UPI) -- A Georgia mother, missing for almost a week, has turned up safe and unharmed but has told police she does not want her location exposed, authorities said.

Bartow County Sheriff Clark Millsap said authorities were contacted about Wazineh Suleiman's whereabouts by a third party, WSB-TV, Atlanta, reported Thursday.

"She is alive and well," Millsap said.

Suleiman, a mother of five, had been missing since Friday when her husband, Abed, returned home from a canceled trip to find his children home alone.

He said his children said their mother had gone out to rent a movie at a nearby Walmart but never returned.

Tuesday, Suleiman's abandoned SUV was found in an empty lot more than 10 miles from the Walmart.

Her husband was questioned but police said he was not considered a suspect or person of interest.

"We will continue with the investigation to make sure no crime was committed," Millsap told WSB-TV.
