WASHINGTON, April 14 (UPI) -- U.S. Rep. Shelley Berkley, D-Nev., has decided to run for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by John Ensign, R-Nev., the Las Vegas Sun reported.
The Sun report said the Democrat confirmed she will enter the race because the opportunity was too appealing to let pass since Ensign announced his retirement at the end of his term.
