WASHINGTON, April 8 (UPI) -- U.S. President Barack Obama remains in Washington Friday for meetings at the White House, the daily agenda indicates.
Obama canceled a trip to Indianapolis to be available as negotiations continue on a budget for the remainder of this fiscal year. Funding under a temporary stopgap measure expires at midnight Friday.

The White House said a trip to Williamsburg, Va., was still to be determined.
