BOSTON, April 7 (UPI) -- A New Hampshire man was arrested at Boston's Logan International Airport when a security check found two antique handguns in his luggage, authorities said.

Brent M. Cameron, 44, of New London, N.H., told police he had purchased two .22-caliber pistols at an auction last week and didn't realize they were in his carry-on bag, the Boston Herald reported Thursday.

An X-ray machine detected the pistols as Cameron went through a Terminal E security checkpoint, the newspaper said.

No ammunition was found with the firearms, authorities said.

Police said Cameron told them he did not have a license to carry because such a license is not required in New Hampshire.

After his arrest Cameron pleaded not guilty in East Boston District Court and was released without bail.
