Woman found dead in August Busch IV home

HUNTLEIGH, Mo., Dec. 24 (UPI) -- A 27-year-old woman was found dead at a St. Louis-area home owned by ex-Anheuser-Busch Cos. Chief Executive August Busch IV, a medical examiner's office said.

Adrienne N. Martin of St. Charles, Mo., was pronounced dead at 1:26 p.m. Sunday at Busch's Huntleigh, Mo., home, the St. Louis County Medical Examiner's Office told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Office administrator Suzanne McCune would not say what caused Martin's death. Toxicology and other tests could take a few weeks, she told the newspaper.

The death, which police didn't report until the newspaper asked about it, is being investigated as a possible overdose, a law-enforcement source told the Post-Dispatch.

Martin's friends told the newspaper she and Busch, 46, had been dating for several months. It was not immediately clear whether Busch was home when Martin died.

"I can tell you there is absolutely nothing suspicious about her passing, and it's a tragic and untimely death of a young person -- a very kind young person, by the way," Busch lawyer Art Margulis told the Post-Dispatch.

Martin, a divorced mother of an 8-year-old boy, wrote a few years ago on a modeling Web site: "I really would like to do beer advertising! Since I have only just begun I can't wait for my exciting times ahead!"
