BAGHDAD, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Two guards and a Sahwa leader were killed in separate incidents of violence in Iraq Wednesday, police said.
Gunmen stormed into the Baghdad home of an unidentified Sahwa official during the early morning hours and killed him, police sources told Kuwait's KUNA news agency.
Iraqi security forces cordoned off the area and began searching for the gunmen.
Security forces said two guards were killed and four others injured when an improvised explosive device detonated near a Sunni endowment building in Al-Azamiyah city north of Baghdad.
