MIAMI, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Miami police have charged a woman with posing as a doctor and charging another woman $1,100 for injections supposed to make her rear end larger.

Investigators say the victim reported that she met Sevilla last year at a health club, The Miami Herald reported. She said that when she complained of how her body looks Sevilla gave her a brochure on buttocks augmentation and told her she had recently moved to Miami after practicing medicine in Los Angeles.

The woman described the injections as so painful she fainted. She got medical help afterwards because she did not feel well and was told she might have lost a leg or even died if she had delayed.

She spent two weeks in a hospital recuperating.
