UMPIRE, Ark., June 13 (UPI) -- A small plane crashed in Arkansas Sunday, killing all four people on board, authorities said.

Little Rock's KATV-TV reported the crash occurred shortly after 10 a.m. on Davis Mountain near Umpire in Howard County.

Arkansas Emergency Management officials confirmed the fatalities, the TV station said.

The crash site was about 14 miles from Langley, the command center for the efforts to find the victims of last week's flash flooding in the Albert Pike Campground area. The plane crash was unrelated to the search effort, the the county sheriff said.
