More documents released in Anthony case

ORLANDO, Fla., April 23 (UPI) -- Florida prosecutors released more records Friday of the investigation into Caylee Anthony's death, showing painstaking searches that produced little evidence.

One report details the findings of FBI scientists trying to find signs of decomposition on human hairs, The Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel reported. Another lists items discovered in the swampy wooded area where Caylee's body was found, including aluminum cans and bugs.

Casey Anthony, 24, has been charged with the murder of her 3-year-old daughter. More than 13,000 pages of documents had already been released before Friday, when 289 more were added.

Cecelia Benhaida, who met Casey Anthony when both were inmates in the Orange County Jail, said she was "trying to be nice to her."

"I kind of felt bad that all the inmates there were in that building …would be screaming murderer," Benhaida said in an interview with Orange County Sheriff's Cpl. Yuri Melich.

Benhaida said she became friendly with Casey's parents, Cindy and George Anthony, after her release and that Cindy told her Caylee was killed accidentally.
