CHICAGO, April 22 (UPI) -- Three Chicago men were discovered slain "execution-style" with severe head trauma in a car that had been reported stolen, Police Superintendent Jody Weis said.
The bodies of Crawford Davis, 23, Tyrece Bailey, 23, and another unidentified victim, a man in his 20s, were discovered Wednesday night, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Two of the bodies were discovered in the trunk and the other in the back seat, police said.
The Cook County medical examiner's office characterized the men's injuries as "multiple trauma."
In March, Bailey was convicted of illegally possessing ammunition, court records showed.
Detectives are investigating the deaths as homicides, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
