TRENTON, N.J., March 31 (UPI) -- Police announced the arrest of a New Jersey teenager on charges she allowed her 7-year-old sister to be sexually assaulted at a weekend party.
The teenager faced charges Wednesday of promoting prostitution, aggravated assault and other charges in connection with the alleged gang-rape of her kid sister at a Trenton apartment.
The investigation discovered the 15-year-old was prostituting herself at the party and also urging male guests to have sex with the younger girl. As a result, police told The Times in Trenton, N.J., the girl was assaulted by as many as seven people.
"You don't even know what to say," said police Capt. Joseph Juniak. "It's incomprehensible."
The girl was taken home by some passersby who saw her crying on the street. Her parents had her treated at a nearby hospital.
Police and Mayor Douglas Palmer promised to throw the book at the older girl and track down the alleged participants in the assault.
