CHICAGO, March 24 (UPI) -- The FBI and U.S. Marshals Service found firearms and $728,481 in cash during a search at the Illinois home of convicted racketeer Frank Calabrese.

An affidavit filed Wednesday by the Department of Justice says federal agents found the cash, seven loaded guns, 1,000 pieces of jewelry and various pieces of audio equipment to tap phone lines Tuesday, stored in a hidden compartment behind a large family portrait in the basement of the Oak Brook, Ill., home. Calabrese's loan-shark operation was a major target of the Family Secrets trial that helped convict several members of the organized crime ring known as the Chicago Outfit.
