SALEM, Ore., Feb. 14 (UPI) -- An Oregon sheriffs sergeant allegedly shot and killed his ex-wife and her friend, and wounded a third woman before turning the gun on himself, officials said.
Jeffrey Grahn, 46, of Clackamas, Ore., entered a Gresham bar Friday and fatally shot Charlotte Grahn, 47, and Kathleen Hoffmeister, 53. Victoria Schulmerich, 53, of Gresham, Ore., was taken to the hospital and was in critical condition, the Salem-News reported Sunday.

Grahn was hired by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Feb. 1995, and promoted to patrol sergeant in August 2003, said Detective Jim Strovink, of the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
