CHICAGO, Dec. 25 (UPI) -- An attorney for Rod Blagojevich said evidence in the former Illinois governor's case will be relocated following a break-in at his Chicago office.

Attorney Sam Adam Jr., part of Blagojevich's legal team, said after his office was broken into earlier this month, the decision was made to move sensitive files elsewhere, the Chicago Sun-Times said Friday.

"We will be moving it -- to where, we don't know yet, but we'll be moving it," Adam said.

The break-in at the attorney's office resulted in the theft of as much as 10 laptop computers and a safe.

Two of the computers were later recovered and Adam confirmed nothing sensitive was on the other missing laptops.

Adam said since the break-in, he has reinforced his office's security by installing window bars and steel doors.

"I'll tell you this, my office is now like Fort Knox," he told the Sun-Times.

Blagojevich, 53, was removed from office in January after being arrested on federal corruption charges.
