Attorney accused in nose-biting incident

MEMPHIS, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- A man alleges in a lawsuit that a Memphis attorney bit off a portion of his nose during a fight at a local restaurant.

Greg Herbers, 48, alleges in his lawsuit against trial attorney Mark Lambert that the fight last June occurred after he found two men in an eatery bathroom stall "performing some activity other than going to the bathroom," The Memphis Commercial Appeal reported Sunday.

Herbers alleges when he asked the men if he could use the toilet, he was confronted by Lambert, who was using a nearby urinal.

Herbers said it appeared Lambert knew the two men and Lambert allegedly began acting aggressively toward him.

According to the lawsuit, Lambert grabbed Herbers' head and bit his nose, taking off a portion of the body part.

The extent of Herbers' injuries and the amount he is seeking in his suit were not released.
