In Facebook message, man admits shooting

MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- An 18-year-old Minnesota man admitted in a Facebook message that he had accidentally shot someone while playing with a gun, police said.

Zakaria Ikar Wayso, of Minneapolis, has been charged with being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, a felony, in the Dec. 3 shooting, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported. Wayso is not allowed to have a weapon because of his role in a 2006 motor vehicle theft, the newspaper said.
