Judge denies request to examine penis

PALM BEACH, Fla., Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Jeffrey Epstein's penis cannot be examined by lawyers for women who say the billionaire sex offender abused them, a Palm Beach, Fla., judge ruled Monday.

The shape of Epstein's penis is not relevant to the civil cases against him, Circuit Judge Donald Hafele ruled. If it becomes relevant, Hafele said he would reconsider the request.

Epstein is being sued in state and federal court by more than a dozen women who allege he abused them when they were minors.

One of the women described Epstein's penis as egg-shaped, which would be an important identifying characteristic, the woman's lawyer, Spencer Kuvin, had argued.

Epstein, a financial manager, served 13 months of an 18-month sentence after pleading guilty last year to soliciting underage girls for massages and sex at his Palm Beach mansion.

Epstein has said he didn't know the women were underage when they came to his home in 2006, The Palm Beach (Fla.) Post reported Monday.
