LOS ANGELES, April 15 (UPI) -- Scottish EDM artist Calvin Harris is Taylor Swift's newest romantic interest, but Harris, 31, reportedly doesn't want a song written about him.

OK Magazine reports that Harris confronted Swift, 25, about her songwriting last week, saying that he "doesn't want her to do that to him," an insider reveals.

The pop music starlet is known to write music inspired by current and past relationships. Previous boyfriends Harry Styles, 21, Joe Jonas, 25, Jake Gyllenhaal, 34, and John Mayer, 37, all have an assigned tune reminiscent of their relationship with her.

Instead of writing songs with "mundane lyrics about boys," EDM star boyfriend urged Swift to take a fresh approach, according to the account. "[Harris] thinks she's an incredible musician who should use her intellect to channel positive energy into her songwriting," says the insider.

The couple has been working together to try something new, reportedly collaborating on a new track. But she's not only working with him. MTV reveals that stars Kendrick Lamar, Zendaya and Hayley Williams have been spotted on set of the new music video for "Bad Blood."

In the end, does Harris have any say in what Swift does with her career? Neither celebrity has responded to the reports yet, but if Taylor Swift drops a new single faintly resembling their budding relationship, fans will know how well she took the advice.
