Hezbollah spies infiltrate Israel

BEIRUT, Lebanon, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Hezbollah has infiltrated the security services of Israel and obtained vital documents regarding military activity, the resistance movement said.

Hezbollah on its al-Manar news station highlights several accounts from Israeli media that suggest the group "might have" gathered information on Israeli defense efforts by crossing the border, taking pictures and copying sensitive documents.

The report points to Israeli accounts that suggest Hezbollah could have obtained key information about Israeli military, naval and aerial activities.

Al-Manar cites Israeli generals who said if war should break out, the Israeli military should not limit its strikes to Hezbollah targets, but the entire Lebanese government if it hopes to win.

Hezbollah lawmakers were appointed top positions in the new government unveiled in Beirut on Monday.

The report comes on the heels of a fiery speech by Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah on Wednesday. Nasrallah in a nationally televised speech warned that if the Israeli military were to attack, "we will destroy it in our mountains."

Hezbollah and Israel fought a bruising 34-day war in 2006.
